"Hilltop Ski Area is one of Anchorage’s best kept secrets! Great snow, friendly staff, and runs that are fun no matter your skill level. Affordable lift tickets and rentals make Hilltop a great choice if you’re not looking to break the bank. The atmosphere is friendly, and the runs are enjoyable. Would love a few more advanced trails, but still a great place to spend the day."

"Great non-proffit community downhill ski/snowboard/bike. It's meer 300ft vertical single chair hill is a great place to learn and build basic skills. Great price, great views, lots of lighting for Alaskan nights, and in town fun make for great repeat visits."

"Amazing for snowboarding/ skiing/ tubing! Can buy a lift pass or pay by the day and also can rent gear for the day! Amazing ski patrol and workers. Everyone is very friendly even when super busy. Serves great food and drinks as well. Nice fire area to warm up if you need a break as well as inside seating and bathrooms."

"If you are looking for somewhere to have your kids learn how to snowboard, their snowsport school got a new lead instructor, coach Martin and he has been amazing. My kids look forward to going every week and has veen doing fantastic! Parking can be a little chaotic unfortunately, we do wish there are more designated parking spots for people with children so they can easily park and not have to walk far with them. Very well managed program. Highly..."

"A great place, the runs are well kept and there is an awesome ski school that provides day passes. The runs are moderate and not difficult, with a few black diamonds, but mostly greens and blues. Very nice for intermediate or beginners. The lift is nice and only takes 3-5 minutes to get up the mountain."

"I brought my 11 year old daughter here to learn to ski as we are from Brisbane Australia. It is a great sport for a beginner. We have had an amazing experience, friendly staff and instructors and even though I am not able to get out due to an injury she has felt supported and confident on her own. Private lessons and ski hire were well priced."
